Beware if you buy US ones that you may get clobbered by customs duty /import tax which could be expensive

Of course you have to pay import duty, but it is no big deal. It is often cheaper than buying from a UK dealer who has added their cut.
Watch the exchange rate.
One thing to consider it how much it might cost to send it back if it needs repair.

Hopefully you won't need it repaired...I guess that's a risk you take. I'll keep looking, it's a fair chunk of money to part with so I don't want to make the decision lightly.
