Frequency 868.1125

Postby mez7000 » Mon Jan 29, 2018 9:44 am

Hi all

Listening on the scanner last night and got a close call hit. The frequency was 868.1125 and sounded like an old dial up modem type noise.

Can anyone please tell me what uses this frequency?

Thanks
Mark

that could be a social alarm, a pendant trigger for a dispersed unit- or a radio trigger for a deaf pager system- they are very low power
868 is set aside for low power radio triggers licence free.

My central heating wireless thermostat works at 866Mhz and sends bursts of data, so I would imagine lots of low power devices around that part of the spectrum.
