POSTSCRIPT - A17 ANYSECU

It's great - BUT - it doesn't have a volume control, which is a major pain. In the end I downloaded an app that gives me a sliding fader on the screen - but you need to unlock the radio, select an icon and then adjust it, which is a real pain - when you forgot hello is running and it suddenly bursts into full volume conversation! I also managed to bend the antenna - luckily, it bent back without breaking, but the antenna is a weak point and I had it in my back pocket and sat down!

They're worth buying for the price, but just need a little careful handling.

I wonder who they were designed for? As they do not sound like they are sufficiently robust to survive long in the hands of most business users.

It's mobile size and weight, so I stuck it in my pocket - then put my 15 stone buttock on it! Not built like a proper radio. There again, an expensive phone doesn't survive the sit test either. The volume snag is because it has a ptt and a torch button as the only other buttons to the front keypad. even a speaker mute button would be good, but you need to push * to unlock the keypad, then find the on screen slider icon. I have put this as a permanent icon on the home screen. Just not ideal.
