You'll need the software and lead. Assuming that try codeplug central.co.uk, you should find a file there that covers why you need
Whistler WS1098
Motorola SL4000
CS701 VHF DMR
Bumfu@k UV-5
Some old random toot

Here's a map of the DMR Repeaters in the UK

Depending on what network the repeater is on depends on how you setup the talk groups for that repeater.

Info on the Phoenix network can be located on http://www.dmr-uk.net which includes talk groups and programming tips

There are also links to the other networks via http://www.dmr-uk.net/index.php/networks/

Repeaters around Leicester are:

GB7RR - Nottingham - Brandmeister
GB7DC - Derby - Brandmeister
GB7LR - Leicester - Brandmeister
GB7SK - Leicester - Phoenix
