Hi guys. While driving around my local town (wadebridge)
With close call on my 125xlt I keep getting hits but it's just noise.
My question is could this be dmr?
I'm waiting for my trx1 back from the store at the minute

Very likely but without hearing it it may be other signals.

tends to sound a bit like the old style dialing tone on a land line

This may be of help in particular scroll down and listen to DMR:
https://www.sigidwiki.com/wiki/Category:DigitalThe sample on this site is for DMR repeaters only....the simplex/mobile version of DMR sounds completely different, but you wont have hit on a mobile/simplex DMR with Close Call.
Not sure I would have ever described DMR as sounding like a dialing tone though...
