1. Make sure DMR (and only DMR) is ticked - that way it won't hit on analogue or data channels etc
2. VHF - for Lo: for most parts of the UK suggest 162MHz - 168.500MHz (You might want to go 157-173.5MHz to include mobiles/some simplex channels, or even 147-174Mhz for some events)
3. UHF suggest 453-459Mhz, possibly 440-470Mhz.
You need to do VHF and UHF as separate limit searches. There is some Western Power DMR TIII in the 154Mhz band but no voice AFAIK.
When you find DMR freqs in use, then add them to a scan list.
Thank you so much. I kinda assumed I could just go to scan lists
Tick the items I wanted(ie airband, marine, dmr simplex etc then press scan.
I have been on radio reference and downloaded files for my local area but am struggling to find how to put them onto the scanner without interfering with what is already on there.
My empty scanlists start at no11 and when i start the whistler app it just shows what is already on the scanner and i cant see an option to select a scan list to import directly to. Am i missing something here also?
