hello to you all, i was thinking of getting back into scanning and was wondering do i get an analogue or digital scanner ?? i live in Irvine, Ayrshire, Scotland which is close to the sea and prestwick airport i also travel around the country a lot so i will need a hand held i have been looking at the uniden ubc125xlt so what would you recommend

If your interests are mainly in the airbands and marine transmissions the analogue will do however most other users are migrating to Digital . one good thing about analogue is that 2nd hand scanners are getting cheaper as those interested in other bands sell off their analogue scanners cheaply
