BCT15x MIL and CiV frequencies for northern England

Postby muddy » Mon Apr 30, 2018 9:43 am

HI

I have just received a BCT15x and i am looking for a BCT file for Military and civil airband frequencies for the North/ East England.

I dont want to reinvent the wheel, if somebody would be so kind as to send me something before I decide on my final layout that would be greatly appreciated.

I dont mind if other systems are included it is just something to get me started.

thanks in anticipation

It's often best to group by transmitter location because you can input the latitude and longitude to use with a GPS, or just lockout them in/out depending on where you are.
The locations of RAF stations and firing ranges are easy to find.
For ATC:
Great Dun Fell, Cumbria
Craigowl Hill near Dundee
Lowther Hill
Snaefell
Preston
Kelsall, Cheshire
Rothwell, Lincs
Overstrand near Cromer
Chedburgh, Suffolk
Waltham, Leics
I reserve the right to ignore people who have made no attempt to the read the manual, and expect others to do it for them.

Depends whereabouts on the NE coast, and how high up you are.
You can pick up Craigowl Hill near Dundee a surprising distance south, as there is nothing in the way.
Great Dun Fell also reaches far due to its height.

Of course, there are other things transmitted from Northumberland
