Frequency Question

Postby Paul338 » Sun Jul 08, 2018 8:19 am

Hi guys.
I was doing a general scan through my saved frequencies on my hand held yesterday and stopped on 159.0125 mhz, I am not sure why
I saved this but it sounded like a satellite passing over. I can not find any reference to this frequency or anything close to it.

Can anybody help with this please.
Thanks.
Paul.

I know 159.0125 is a St John Ambulance frequency & that it use to be on the PMR licence issued to road workers too. But most road workers now seem to use PMR light/simple & I do not know if the Road Construction licence still exists or not.

I know in a few areas St. John has started to move away from conventional radios to a voice over IP solution.
