Gaining access to locked roof spaces is an important part of our radio heritage. So much so that many radio enthusiasts have court orders banning them from roof areas.
My other main hobby is magic & I got into magic mainly via escapology. As I had learnt to gain entry to buildings via working in the building trade & vehicles via being a recovery driver. And that made me interested in opening locks in general & that later that got me some work helping a company quietly get back rental/lease HGV's that were not being paid for & often from yards that had been inadvertently left unlocked

Edited to add. If you need any help checking that the lock is doing what the landlord wants it too, then just shout. You would be surprised at just how many locks are left unlocked, when you look at them in the right way.
