Audible clicking during Scan

Postby Dawly » Sun Oct 20, 2019 6:43 pm

Hi,

I thought my Signal R535 was normal, but after seeing a video on Youtube by Simon Spiers I see it is not! During scanning there is an audible, rapid clicking in time with the scan. Irritating on the little inbuilt speaker, but positively infuriating on an external one.

Does anyone have any suggestions what it might be or how I might go about curing it?

Thanks, Adam

As far as I know. 535's clicking as they scan is perfectly normal for some, maybe even most.

Edited to add, there is a keypad programmable way of increasing the UHF coverage from it's standard 380mhz to 420mhz. It may be worth googling if it interests you.

I do not have a 535, but a friend use to have one several years ago. So good luck with what I remember as a decent airband scanner.
