Give Motorola a call on their free UK number on 0800 328 2424. You will need to buy a licensed copy as the software is copyrighted which Motorola strongly enforce. I did try a few pirate online versions before I bought my copy and none of them worked.

Yep like M3TSY said ring them up it's a freephone number and won't cost you anything. I looked on Moto's official site and it's not on the site but they do take telephone orders and inquiries so that first advice is the best. You don't need a licence just an official licenced version.

Been in touch with Radio Links (www.radio-links.co.uk) and they willing to do me the latest CPS for £15 and £55 for genuine DP3600 programming lead :) Is this a good deal?

No chance that your getting a genuine licenced copy of the cps for that price especially with all the Motorola updates and full backup and support m8 and like I said originally you buy cheap and you will end up paying double in the long run especially with cheap copy cables which are known for bricking radios while programming which means replacing the dp3600 for another at a cost .

I'm sure a few members on here will jump on this thread and state the same especially the ones with Motorola experience and they will point you in the right direction ;)

Its a copy of the dealers own programming software, its from a actual company tho so it should be ok.

your best asking them a few aftersales questions like

what version Motorola cps are they giving you ?

How long do they guarantee there updates for after buying the program and do they charge you extra for any updates ?

Are you registered on the Motorola support site with your program copy incase you come into any problems ?

Honestly m8 I'd be very dubious if somebody offered me a full paid copy for just £15 that usually sells from a dealer for at least £120 and I know Motorola crack right down on copys and are known to stop businesses trading if there selling you a copy of software like that .

If I was you I'd only deal with the genuine Motorola dealers and if you ask the likes of benw on here or radiosolutions they will know if they are genuine etc ;)

if any of you dealers are reading this please jump on and help him out and give him some advice so he doesn't get scammed :)

It's a copy- which is exactly the point. Copy does NOT mean it is a legitimate ' version'. The CPS has it's own part number (GMVN5141AE). Google that and have a look at the RRP.

Its the only way I can afford it:

DP3600 - £230
SOFTWARE -£15
CABLE - £55

Im on a budget of £300 that's all I can afford unless anybody got the CPS program lying round what they don't need or use
