Hi Mick M5AED.
Just a not to your last post. I used to be an CBer in the 70s/80s and was wondering if it would be worth returning to CB. I was what you would call a clean CB user and No foul talk. I did consider taking a Ham course but didn't get round to it.

Can you explain what you have to do to get a standard Ham licence and what it covers please. Oh how much is it?

I have just bought second hand CB radio to see how I get on with it, awaiting delivery. Is there much CB activity on now a days with the new multi channeled european and uk frequencies.
