Hi All

Just moved back to Lincoln and getting back into this after a few years. Am saving up for a Whistler TRX-1. Used to love listening to all the freq's around the town.

Since coming back to the area I have noticed that the Shop & Pub watch have moved over to digital. I know they used to use voice inversion scrambling on Icom IC-F44's but having been into town the other day they now appear to be using Hytera PD565's.

I know they used to use 453.0625 - 459.5625, does anyone known if they still use these freq's? I have a DMR radio and have programmed in the Freq's but obviouly this isn't going to pick anything up without the Colour Code, Slot, TGID etc......... Does anybody have those or anyone with a decent DMR scanner able to check for me? (a big ask I know!!)

Also, are the other Freq's in Lincoln still analogue or have they moved over to DMR too (LCH/Council etc)

Many Thanks!
SiKi

The ones where you publish to frequencies, for example Cwmbran - Wales - Cwmbran Shopping Centre 453.3250 459.8250

Is that two channels they are using or one channel on duplex - and if the later, which is Rx and which is Tx

For a scanner or handheld, the lower freq is the rx

Although don't forget, if they have gone digital, and are using dmr, then there will be 2 distinct channels, along with at least one talk group per channel. Unless of course they use capacity plus or hyteras psudo trunk, where it will all mix over both channels......

456.875 on 218.1 and 173.8, somewhere in the Liverpool area.

Looking at the main list, Runcorn isn't in Liverpool. The frequencies given are wrong as well.

Runcorn Shopping City
456.650 CC5 S1 and Slot 2 Runcorn Shopping Centre Security
453.800 CC7 S1 Runcorn Shopping Centre Cleaners

The shopwatch, I'll need to check my list later, I think it's around 445. It's on NXDN.

Done to confuse people Andrew...they are listed more correctly as Runcorn later in the file (same freqs as per the ones you say are incorrect)

It's not my list, I'm not the one confusing people...

The list is still classed as an English areas, which is would give the impression the rest of the UK is part of England. I was trying to find out if the shopwatch I found was listed under Liverpool, then found Runcorn, where I am now, had shifted from Cheshire to Merseyside. Towns under the wrong county or posts in the wrong places don't help.

I didn't say it was your list nor did I say it was you trying to confuse people.

Sorry, misread your comment, I have my glasses on now. I read it as "Don't confuse people"

The search works per board, not on the home page. Even then that doesn't help if people post in the wrong place, asking for frequencies in General Discussion, or Radio and Scanning Chat. The shopwatch thread should be on a board of it's own. Try telling some Scottish people they are English once and you won't get to do it a second time...

Having English places by towns or at least counties is also annoying when almost anywhere north of the border is just classed as 'Scotland'. It's a big place...
The BBC have a nasty habit of doing that.
