The Morecambe watch isn't overly busy, but I have clocked 14 call idents or seen a radio on a premise but never hear them use it. I can verify 10 of the ID's.

I have ordered a new SDR dongle, it should be here next Thursday. You will need to message me the talk group, slot and code so I can pop it into my RT3 and have a listen. I can take it to work and have a listen there or on the way there and back.

I have checked on the allocation & found the following.
457.525 457.550 457.575 which are in use on ships in Heysham (not DMR)
Also allocated are 456.55 467.575 457.5375 457.5625 467.5375 467.5625...

Pubwatch on ships?

I've almost narrowed it down precisely which ship uses which frequency and tone. I used Marinetraffic.com

IOMSP - Ch 38 158.47500 Ben-My-Chree uses this in the harbour
Clipper Point 457.53750 DCS 131
Hibernia / Performer 457.57500 218.1Hz
Stena Precision 457.52500 85.4Hz
Stena Scotia 457.55000 DCS 712

I've only been to the harbour entrance once since I moved back here last June, I can hear them on FM if they are still on the radio leaving the harbour. Some of the 457 frequencies have a 10 mHz split. I'll try and get to the harbour again soon, the last time the weather was a bit wild, plus you can only go via the Ocean Edge or the nature reserve.

The AIS can have the ships as Seatruck, but click on the picture and it's a Stena piece of equipment.

Hi Andrew

The reason why you may be confused between Seatruck and Stena boats is that for several years Seatruck Performance and Seatruck Precision were chartered to Stena Line as became Stena Performance and Stena Precision. The AIS sites use old photos.
You are correct about the Ben and Ch.2 is 156.725
Unless it has changed recently Hibernia is 467.5375 (D703)

The Marinetraffic site, which I use has some of the ships names in Seatruck, but click on it and they become Stena in the photos

I have personally logged these.

Stena Precision 457.525 / 85.4
Stena Scotia 457.550 / DCS 712
Stena Hibernia / Stena Performer 457.575 / 218.1
Seatruck / Stena 453.325 on DMR, two channels on land
Clipper Point 457.5375 / DCS 131

I can hear them on the radio if they are using radios as the ships are leaving or entering the harbour.

I did have IOMSP staff in the passenger lounge / ticket areas 169.250 but haven't heard that since moving back here last June, I've only been to the harbour entrance once since, the Ben on board crew use 158.475 when maneuvering in the harbour, 157.900 for the vehicle loaders.
