455.800/416.1000 DMR TS1 CC2 TG1000

Might be interesting to see what happened if someone transmitted on 416.1000

Hopefully nothing as 461.100 should be the correct RX frequency. So either the transceivers are programmed incorrectly, are being operated illegally, or the frequency has been logged incorrectly.

The one thing I learnt when I was broadcasting was you do not operate in a way which draws extra attention to yourself. For example we only used CB's for site safety & only VERY occasionally. So to stop the DTI from raiding our broadcast site, as we tried to only use sites with one road in & out. No through roads where possible. Being involved with both Echo Charlie & Broadcasting was far more illegal than using a CB with no licence. But why draw extra attention to yourself? If they checked, we were both licenced, so they had no reason to visit.

Programming up a tranciver for a frequency which may be getting used incorrectly, is a good way of getting yourself noticed. As Ofcom will do something about valuable PMR frequencies being misused & if they are in the area after the main culprit, an added extra arrest is a bonus when it comes to their figures.

Edited to add.
On UHF TX should be 5 MHZ higher than RX.

Because Alan i like to know its how we learn things by asking questions, and i agree 100% you dont want transceivers in the hands of irresponsible people.

So good job im not one of them.
