London Heathrow frequencies

Postby TheTravelGuy » Wed Sep 12, 2018 10:03 pm

Hi there. I visited London Heathrow a few weeks ago for a couple of hours plane spotting. I was wondering if anyone had any up to date frequencies for heathrow including London Control. Many thanks

I have looked through the supplement for LHR and saw the following freqs with As next to them and wondered what they were for

121.930
121.555
121.680
121.730
121.955

Any info on these freqs would be appreciated.

"AS" = Aerodrome Surface

So basically "Ground" and "Delivery".
i.e. supposedly not used in the air, though I did once hear an aircraft talking to Cork Ground to get a weather forecast!

Bureaucrats love acronyms that nobody understand and they don't even use themselves. :rolleyes:
