Does anyone know if digital is used on the SAR frequencies? On the frequency I know to be my local SAR channel I have heard what sounds to be NXDN in the past. Never had the chance to decode it though - possibly a bit weak too.

Hiya people,
I'm on a weeks holiday over at Whitby and tried for the Cleveland mrt and scarborough mrt channels, when we seen them in action nothing heard on any of the listed frequencies, I have also tried close call when stood next to there vehicle and nothing was hit, anybody got any idea's as we visit regular the east coast and would be great to hear them. we hear the coastguard etc but never the mountain rescue team. many thanks :smiles:
