So this must be related to the changes to Maritime & Coastguard Agency (MCA) Maritime Safety Information (MSI) broadcasts, and applies to the whole UK not just Holyhead.
http://hmcoastguard.blogspot.co.uk/2017 ... -2017.htmlThese changes are due to international changes to VHF Marine channels to accomodate some digital channels.
The current MCA MSI channels are:
157.15 / 161.75 FM Marine:23 (Used at South Stack near Holyhead)
157.225 / 161.825 FM Marine:84
157.325 / 161.925 FM Marine:86
(with :10 used in a few places.)
The new channels are:
156.125 / 160.725 FM Marine:62
156.175 / 160.775 FM Marine:63
156.225 / 160.825 FM Marine:64
This means the lost of SAR NFM channels 62A, 631, 632, 641, 624.
Has anyone seen any information about new frequencies for SAR?
