I was there last Friday, not for long though, plus I spent a while in The Cavern which isn't a good place to listen from.... Loads of 446's and 559's, just couldn't pick out who they were.

The only confirmed was Lime Street Station, 453.025 on 110.9Hz, which is managed by Network Rail.

Hello all, Just found my old scanners in the loft, an old bearcat base scanner and an icom handheld, used to listen to the police on them over a decade ago, drove to john lennon airport last night and got a few things on it but im looking for anything, anything at all to listen to, Im in the Kirkby area (L33) and would love to listen to the taxis, all the 5's, all the 4's etc but cant find anything apart from old davey liver frequencies that i dont think even work anymore. If anybody can help, It would be great. Thanks. :walkietalkie:

There is a CBS Shared repeater in Frodsham on 445.900 which is probably what you are hearing, it's located on a high spot so has a good range into Liverpool. :walkietalkie:
