Radio repairs.

Postby m0lsx » Wed Jan 06, 2016 8:03 pm

I hope this is OK to post here, we often get posts on here asking about how to get scanners repaired. Someone is advertising his services on a FB amateur radio group I use.

Hello my name is Dave Wood trading as DAW Electronics my business is a comprehensive repair facility now based for the last 2 years in South Wales, I have a country wide client base and thanks to all my customers so far for that. In the last 2 years I have repaired and serviced somewhere in the region of 1200 radio’s varying from military Clansman to some of the latest Amateur radio and CB equipment, As a time served engineer for the last 35 years I have a good knowledge base from VLF to Microwave equipment solid state and valves.

Dave has posted a email & mobile phone number on FB, but I will not repeat it here. I have no connections to Dave & have never used him, but I do like to support the small guys & he has been posting on the FB groups for sometime & I have heard good reports, so I offer this as a potential option for those not wanting to use the big dealers.
Daves callsign is G4TIW & he has a dot net at Virgin if anyone wants to email him.
