Postby Dawly » Mon Aug 27, 2018 3:18 pm

Hi,

Does anyone have an updated frequency for ATC sector 18 (Seaford). It used to be 135.325 when I last listened, and despite googling for ages I can't find it. Thks. Adam (Dawlish)

Hi Minus1,

That NATS website will be hugely useful. Thank you. I inadvertently came across a Paris Ctl freq for 128.875 and this seems to take France-bound traffic very early on, well, well into UK airspace, along the Seaford-Dieppe route. I'm only guessing, but perhaps I'm simply just not hearing them on 135.325 anyomore as the handover is happening earlier? Also I am now in Dawlish, South Devon and only 20ft or so asl so maybe my range is less good than previous QTH. Thank you for replying.

It's not unusual for an aircraft to be handed over to the next sector (even if in a different FIR) long before they reach the nominal boundary. I've heard UK bound flights handed over to London by french controllers, whilst still over France, e.g. Cherbourg, Rouen.

If you liked the NATS site, try the French equivalent:
