Cholsey & Wallingford Oxfordshire

Postby Neil57uk » Thu Sep 06, 2018 7:04 pm

The C&W Railway east of Didcot are having a gala this coming weekend. The WTR lists their freq as 165.075 but not sure if digi or analogue. Was hoping to visit but now unable so would welcome reports from anybody in the area who can confirm colour code or ctcss tone.

hi neil, and scrunge ,, i know the system well, they use it for general use, the idea was to see if they could talk from wallingford to the didcot main platform. not sure what the ctcss is now , but it was 141.3, when they was originally set up, they had the option to use 169.875 as a simplex channel with the same tone. they used use philips prp 76 radio's but not sure what is in use now, if they go over to dmr i will post the info on here, regards
