Nothing that I know of I think they are both FLEX or one may still be POCSAG.

153.024 is actually 153.025

153.025 and 153.350 are both PageOne Communications

They are very active here in Yorkshire, though the text all relates to the West, and South West of the country.

153.025 is quite active here in S.Wales although as previously stated most of the msgs appear to be for London & South of England.

It is very rare that I get anything relating to Wales at all, Most of the msgs appear to be Fire & Ambulance calls to incidents,

which I find unusual because I thought all the mobilization msgs for these were sent to an in-vehicle MDT via secure comms.

Nearly everything that I can receive is FLEX, I have tried to receive & decode POCSAG but no joy, even though I'm using a Uniden BCT15X with a discriminator tap fitted.

153.025 uses Flex
153.350 uses POCSAG

Some users left when Vodapage was sold to PageOne but most still seem to be around.
Trumptons are mainly on 153.350 (plus some stations use nationally allocated local paging freq for alerters).
NHS stuff spread over both freqs.
MRTs now gone though at least one team still has a contract
Vets, IT support, process control, remote monitoring etc all still using lots of pagers.

Basically, still plenty of use and still fairly uniteresting

Welshmonitor - I also had problems with Pocsag but did eventually get it working. However, I'm using an RSP2 with SDRUno software feeding virtual audio cable into PDW. On SDRUno I am able to set the FM de-emphasis to 75uS. To get Flex to work, de-emphasis required switching off. Also AGC off for both signal. This probably won't help with your 15X but these were the only diference in settings I required. The only other thing I can suggest is to play around with the volume settings - too much or too little will cause issues.
Good luck! Noel.

Thanks for the replies, I have been messing with the sound input volumes for a few hours, but to no avail, unfortunately, but I will keep trying.

POC32 software is decoding great at an average of 95% successful decode rate, It's just the program is very limited on user modification, such as being able to change text color, etc.

As a matter of interest, in the POC32 software, there is an option called "Skyper Mode" I have tried having this enabled & disabled but can see no difference with regards to decoding,

Does anybody know what this "Skyper Mode" actually is?? Unfortunately, there appears to be no manual of help file available for POC32 anywhere, so I'm curious as to what the optimal

settings are.

Any help/advice is very much appreciated.

Skyper was a German paging network which used POCSAG encoding.
