Correct length for 2m sleeve dipole

Postby corps012588 » Mon Mar 02, 2020 5:48 pm

I've made a couple of sleeve dipoles and whilst they work I'm not entirely sure if I've got the measurements correct for 2m.
I've got the centre at 19.5inches and also the rolled back braid at 19.5 inches. It's only for receive and I dont have any equipment to analyze.
If I could get one to work good on 2m/70cm I was going to use it as a travel antenna I can string up in a tree

Thank you buddy. According to that calculator it should be around 77.1 inches instead of my 39 so I'm miles away from the correct length

Scrap that. I was having a moment and didn't scroll down. It seems I am pretty damn close as that calculator says 38.4 inches
