Newbie with frozen Radio Shack pro-95

Postby Autocad1972 » Mon May 25, 2020 9:53 am

Hello,

Just wondering if anybody can help me with a frozen Radio Shack pro-95. I did a factory reset with the pin at the side some time ago and it is frozen on
below screen . I have pressed all buttons and nothing will change it. Any tips appreciated.

Thanks mhm, I have tried both things before and tried them again just there. No joy unfortunately. I think it was the initializing which caused the screen to freeze/ lock. Appreciate your reply.

Just a thought, try 0 then 5, should verify the EPROM, tell you if it has put its wheels up !
0 then 6 sometimes gives a better result.

This may be a stupid thought , but the reset switch that you push with a pin on the side hasn't got stuck by any chance has it ? . Maybe a bit of switch cleaner and a few firm pushes could release it .

Thansks Bobcode and maylandmanta. I got a tip that it may need a new button pad or that some of the buttons are frozen. Will try that and let ye know how it goes. Thanks G
